MIRACLES

"If
you can believe, all things are possible to him who
believes." (Mark 9:23). "Without
faith it is impossible to please God." (Hebrews 1:6), but if
we can believe, all things are possible!
FAITH
IN GOD WORKS MIRACLES
"And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the name of
the Lord shall be saved." (Acts 2:21)
"Is
any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the
church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the
name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the
sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed
sins, they shall be forgiven him." (James 5:14-15)
This
world is divided into two groups: those who make it happen and
those who ask, "What happened?" The one group has
faith, and the other group does not!
The
battle lines are drawn between believers and unbelievers, between
the faithful and those without faith, between the optimists and
pessimists and between people of action and those who do nothing
but sit on their hands!
FAITH
IS ACTION - FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD
Faith
is NOT JUST WORDS - Faith is action. And faith in God works
miracles! Faith sets the wheels in motion and gets the job
done!
Although
our believing will get results, we must have patience, faith and
perseverance. This is why King David said, "Submit thy
way unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to
pass." (Psalms 37:5)
EVEN
IF WE ARE DISCOURAGED, WE MUST HAVE FAITH
Sometimes
we hit dry holes or times of discouragement, we can slip a step or
two backwards or even take a fall. When this happens, we must have
faith. We pick ourselves up, square our shoulders and march
forward with renewed, stronger faith.
We
must keep on keeping on, never giving up the faith, regardless of
tough times, the handicap under which we labour. These
trials we live through are what make us stronger and our continued
faith in God and ourselves pushes us to succeed.
CHRISTIANS
LEAD THE WAY WITH FAITH
A
perfect example of faith is Magnus Patricus who returned to pagan
Ireland in the fifth century as a missionary and preached the
Gospel of Christ to the same Druids who had kidnapped him! This
man certainly had faith.
That
man - known today as St. Patrick - was such a revolutionary and
had such faith in God, that during a 30-year-period, he won
100,000 pagans to Christ and changed the course of Ireland!
ONLY
FAITH COULD HAVE PUSHED FRANCIS XAVIER TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT HE
DID - WITHOUT FAITH WE WILL
FAIL
Only
a Spirit-filled Evangelical crusader could have done what Francis
Xavier accomplished for the Lord in the 16th Century.
Francis
Xavier wanted to become an engineer, so that he would be
remembered. Someone encouraged him to enter the ministry.
I'm
sure he must have been influenced by the writings of Martin
Luther, because he became a flaming Missionary Evangelist! A great
revival broke loose in India and 30,000 Hindus were converted to
Christ and baptized. His heart yearned to reach the pagan land of
China with the Gospel, but all doors were closed.
Francis
Xavier died in 1552 at 46 years of age still trying to negotiate
entry into China. Just before his death he cried out: "O'
Thou Great Wall, when wilt thou open so that the Rock (Jesus
Christ) can come inside"?
BILLY
GRAHAM HAS FAITH
Evangelical
preacher, Billy Graham continues to have strong faith and to be a
conscience to the world, preaching the Gospel and reminding
everyone that the 'Blood of Jesus Christ' shed by God's
eternal Son on Golgotha - so many years ago - to atone for our
sins!
At
80 years of age, God's 'great trumpeter', Billy Graham has
no plans to retire, even though he has recently suffered ill
health and weakness. This is because of his strong faith. Faith
that enables you to continue to believe, continue to push forward.
A study of Billy Graham's life is indeed a study in faith!
CHECK
OUT THE POLITICIANS WHO HAVE FAITH
Who
can not help but admire former USA President Ronald Reagan.
President Reagan, a man who fought so long to get the top job in
that country?
RONALD
REAGAN WAS A MAN OF GREAT FAITH
Ronald
Reagan was a man of great faith. His presidency surged with
energy and optimism even after an assassin's attempt on his life.
He still continued to have faith in the world, faith in his
beliefs and faith that he could defeat communism. His legacy
will always be the defeat of world communism and the dissolution
of the "Evil (USSR) Empire"!
Even
as President Ronald Reagan battled the unremitting Alzheimer's
disease, he kept his chin up and his outlook bright!
We
must mention "the little guy from Chiwingan", PM
Jean Chretian, the politician constantly referred to during the
last election as "Yesterday's Man"! Although his
credibility has been badly damaged due to the disastrous outcome
of the last Quebec Referendum - many charge him of being asleep at
the wheel - Chretian is nevertheless a man of remarkable courage
and determination and faith.
Jean
Chretian won the last election by promising 'JOBS, JOBS, JOBS' and
told Canadians to simply relax and feel good about themselves,
have faith in him and in their selves, and it worked!
CANADA
HAD LOST THE FAITH
HOW
SAD, HOWEVER, THAT EARLY THIS YEAR MOST CANADIANS WERE UNHAPPY,
DEPRESSED AND FELLING HOPELESS ABOUT THEIR FUTURE. They
had certainly lost their faith. According to a new UN
report, Canada has the highest rate of suicides anywhere in the
industrial world.
Without
doubt, our nation has drifted away from our moral moorings by
listening to the secularist, immoral and perverted pleadings of
the out-of-step segment of politicians and media, who seek to
justify their own unrighteous life-styles by brainwashing others
to do the same!
And
what of the man who is seeking his job, Preston Manning, the
leader of the feisty group of Reform Party MP's? Although they
have been derided and dismissed as a viable alternative to the
tired old political parties, the son of Alberta's former
irreproachable Premier Ernest C. Manning, is sounding more Prime
Ministerial all the time!
At
least Preston Manning has a sensible and realistic approach to the
possibility of our nation's break-up, the necessity of changing
our open-ended immigration policy and getting Canada's financial
house in order!
When
you consider his roots, dedication and his clear-headed common
sensible thinking, it would certainly not surprise me, if one day
he rises to the very top! With the recent passing of Ernest C.
Manning - the man called 'the Father of Modern Alberta' -
many are longing for that kind of leadership from his son!
WHEN
YOU HAVE FAITH, EVERYTHING WILL FALL INTO PLACE
TWO
GROUPS OF PEOPLE: BUILDERS & WRECKING CREWS
While
many would shirk from their post and shrink away in fear, others
stand up and are counted as men of faith. They have faith in God
and that is the most important. When you have faith, everything
else will fall into place.
OPTIMISTS
HAVE FAITH
I
am an optimist with trust and faith in God for today and hope for
the future! The pessimist is a prophet of doom while the
optimist is a bearer of glad tidings. Pessimism is born of
unbelief and is a negative force while optimism is the product of
faith and is a positive power!
PESSIMISTS
DO NOT HAVE FAITH
Pessimism
kills, negativism destroys, but optimism gives opportunity the
chance to knock on your door. There is nothing as dull and
lifeless as pessimism and nothing as refreshing as optimism! A
pessimist breeds discouragement in the livers of others, while an
optimist multiplies the glow in his heart to those around him!
PEOPLE
WITH FAITH SOLVE PROBLEMS - PEOPLE WITHOUT FAITH CREATE PROBLEMS
There
have always been two groups in every society: the ones who create
problems and those who solve them! Some are part of the 'builders'
and others make up the 'wrecking crew'. A certain element
likes to create chaos and are labeled 'trouble makers',
while others seek to negotiate as 'peace makers'.
Jesus
rebuked His disciples after His resurrection for "their
unbelief and hardness of heart because they believed not that He
was risen from the dead"!
Herein
lies the tragedy. Far too many are guilty of these two sins - unbelief
and hardness of heart - today!
UNBELIEF
IS SIN AND IS THE OPPOSITE OF FAITH
Unbelief
is sin and the very opposite of faith, and a hard heart can be
cruel, condemning, judgmental and critical! I would far sooner be "an
easy mark" for those seeking to 'con' me, than to be
guilty of being hard-hearted!
Only
a real encounter with Jesus Christ can change the heart of man.
The Bible says, "Without faith it is impossible to please
God". (Heb. 1:6), but if we can believe, all things are
possible!
And
that is the very best news. Continue to have faith and you
will see the results.
There
is healing
through
THE PRAYER OF FAITH

are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivereth him
out of them all." (Psalms 34:19)
IS
ANY SICK AMONG YOU ? THERE IS HEALING THROUGH
THE PRAYER OF FAITH
"Ask,
and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it
shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth; and
he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocked it shall be
opened." (Matthew 7:7-8)
ASK
AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN YOU - SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND - THERE IS HOPE
FOR YOU
You
must have faith, for the Bible says, ..."For the prayer of
faith shall save the sick.." (James 5:15)
Multitudes
today are suffering from a disease or infirmity with no relief.
They have frequented doctors, clinics and hospitals with little or
no help - and many people are discouraged, angry and bitter !
Many people have prayed earnestly - but have not been healed and
feel that God does not hear them.
Many
people have gone to their church and requested prayer by the
pastor or the elders and are still sick and not healed.
Others have gone to huge evangelistic crusades seeking healing
from Jesus Christ - but still they are not healed. These
people become very discouraged and begin to lose the faith in God
and in healing.
YOU
MAY HAVE PRAYED AND YOU MAY FEEL GOD DOESN'T CARE OR HEAR YOU
You
may be reading this booklet and you may be discouraged. You
may feel that God doesn't care and doesn't listen to your prayers.
Your faith may be gone and you are tired or being tired, sick and
defeated.
You
may feel like throwing up your hands in despair since
nothing helps and your are ready to accept your weakness, your
pain, your sickness and distress as your lot in life.
DEAR
FRIEND, DO NOT GIVE UP - THERE IS STILL HOPE FOR YOU
Do
not despair, it's not too late for you. It may seem
hopeless, but it is not. It may seem useless to think of
deliverance or healing, but IT IS NOT. As long as you are
alive, and as long as you have faith - and as long as there is a
GOD in Heaven - there is still HOPE!
The
Bible says, "With men this is impossible, but not with God,
for with God all things are possible." Mark 10:27) It may
seem impossible to you but with God NOTHING is impossible.
JESUS
IS HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS
Man's
extremity becomes God's opportunity. When man fails,
that's when GOD can take over, for GOD never fails. When man
"gives up on you", GOD is ready, willing and able to
step in and bring to pass a miracle in your life, because nothing
is impossible with Him."
When
God could bring the world into being by His spoken Word, hang the
universe on nothing, fling the sun, moon and stars into the far
most corner of the night to rotate in perfect harmony, HE CAN
ANSWER YOUR PRAYER.
"By
the Word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of
them by the breath of His mouth." (Psalm 33:6).
Since
GOD has the ability to create millions of moons, galaxies of
stars and heavenly bodies by a few words from Hs lips, most
assuredly He is able to destroy the cancer, heart disease,
diabetes or arthritis which is stealing your health.
With
just the touch of His hand, GOD created a perfect human being in
his own image. GOD then breathed into man's nostrils
the breath of life, making him a living soul. If GOD could
do all this with JUST a touch of His hand - surely he can HEAL
your sick spirit, heal your sick soul (mind) or heal your sick
body.
The
Great GOD who brought back to life the LORD Jesus Christ, can
certainly quicken your mortal body. When you think of how
great and mighty our GOD is, certainly nothing could be impossible
to Him!
St.
Paul declares: "But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus
from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead
shall also quicken - make life in - your mortal (temporal, dying)
bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you." (Romans
8:11)
IS
GOD ABLE TO HEAL THE SICK ? YES
Is
God able to heal our weak, aging, temporal bodies? Yes, He is able
to and He does! Since He (the Holy Spirit) brought Jesus
Christ back from the dead, He can most certainly heal our diseased
and dying bodies, says St. Paul.
In
verse 26, the great apostle continues, "Likewise the Spirit
also helpeth our infirmities (lit. greek - takes a hold of against
our sicknesses): for we know not what we should pray for as we
ought: but the Spirit itself (Himself) maketh intercession for us
(lit. greek - and together with us) with groanings (Holy Spirit
prayer - praying in tongues) which cannot be uttered."
The
same Blessed Holy Spirit Who raised Jesus Christ from the dead
dwells within us and "takes a hold of against our
sickness" and "together with us" prays to our
Heavenly Father for our healing and deliverance!
YOU
MUST BELIEVE AND YOU MUST HAVE FAITH
The
Bible says, "All things are possible to him that
believeth." (Mark 9:23) The first truth we have
established is that your case is not too difficult for God and
there is a good possibility of your healing to take place.
But the Bible also states that you must believe and you must have
faith that you will receive healing.
ALL
THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THEM THAT BELIEVE
"The
thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and destroy, but I
am come that they might have life and have it more
abundantly." (John 10:10)
Jesus
stated that the devil came for only three reasons; to steal, kill
and destroy! But Jesus came to bring life! The devil is a thief
and a murderer (John 8:44) and came only to do evil (steal, kill
and destroy). He came to rob you of your happiness, joy,
peace, health and blessing. He came to harm you and destroy you in
a hospital, insane asylum or prison.
THE
DEVIL IS CRUEL, EVIL, WICKED AND WANTS YOU TO BE SICK
The
devil is cruel, perverted, evil, wicked and ungodly. He can only
do evil. He has no capability to do good. The devil is the death
giver!
JESUS
IS 100% GOOD! He came to bring life. He came to bring
blessings to all who would believe. He came to bring
ABUNDANT LIFE because he is THE LIFE GIVER! Some people have given
the devil the credit for healing sick people - this is blasphemous
and utterly false. It is contrary to God's Word and accuses Jesus
of telling an untruth.
JESUS
CHRIST IS TRUTH & LIFE
We
know that Jesus is the truth, the life and the way (John 14:6).
The Word of God is pure, divine and infallible!
Jesus
said that you cannot get good fruit from a corrupt tree or corrupt
frit from a good tree. By their fruits we shall know them!
Jesus said a corrupt tree "bringeth not forth good
fruit" (Matthew 7:18) It is against the law of a thorn
tree to bring forth figs - you can't get sweet water out of a
fountain that is bitter.
JESUS
CALLED THE DEVIL A THIEF WHO COMES ONLY TO STEAL, KILL &
DESTROY
Jesus
called the devil a thief who came only to steal, kill and destroy.
He came to earth for no other purpose! Jesus came to bring life!
Healing and health is life! Sickness and disease brings death! The
Bible classifies 'healing' as 'doing good'!
"How
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power,
Who went about doing good, healing all who were oppressed of the
devil." (Acts 10:38)
THE
DEVIL IS EVIL, THE DEVIL MADE PEOPLE SICK & JESUS MADE
THEM WELL
The
message is plain and simple: The devil made people sick but Jesus
made them well. Sickness comes from satanic sources and divine
healing has its origin in God! The literal Greek states that
Jesus Christ healed all those who "were under the dominion,
authority or lordship of Satan." That is God's Word -
Believe it and be healed. Oh I know there are times that it
appears witch doctors and other occultists may have affected cures
by their incantations. Do not be deceived. Satan is a
deceiver and manipulator. In the end, his involvement always
brings enslavement, torment & death.
MAGICIANS
OF EGYPT TRIED TO PERFORM MIRACLES & FAILED
The
magicians (witch doctors and soothsayers) of Egypt could duplicate
many of the miracles performed by Moses in the sight of Pharaoh
(king) of Egypt. There were two things they could not do, however.
No.
1 - The magicians could not get rid of the plagues even though
they could duplicate Moses in bringing forth the flies and frogs.
Moses had to be called to get rid of the plagues: examples:
darkness, flies, frogs, lice, locusts. Interpretation: Satan can
bring the cancer but he has no power to heal the person from the
death dealing work of the disease which he has brought. God is the
only healer and restorer!
No.
2 - When it comes to creating life, the magicians could not create
lice out of dust as Moses did in the Name of the Lord.
THE
MAGICIANS SAID, "THIS IS THE FINGER OF GOD"
The
magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God."
(Exodus 8:19) Here is the interpretation: Satan is a deceiver and
trickster but he has no power to do good, heal, save or create
life! All he can do is deceive, lie, steal and kill! Only
God can heal and create life and sustain it!
There
are some things you must do if you are to be healed. Study the
accounts of sick folk - in the Bible - who were healed, and if you
do what they did, you will certainly receive healing, because
Jesus Christ is no respecter of persons!
WHAT
MUST I DO TO BE HEALED THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST
No.
1 - Worship Jesus
Christ
No. 2 - Humble yourself before God
No. 3 - Believe in God's Integrity, ability and willingness
to keep his promises
No. 4 - Take God at his word and have faith and keep having
faith - as God to increase your faith
No. 5 - In Faith receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and
Healer - as he promised to you
#1
- WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST
There
is only ONE HEALER, Jesus Christ.
He alone is the Great Physician. Seek Him and worship Him, and
turn from every known sin. Seek the Healer and not the healing!
Focus
your attention on Jesus. Worship, praise and magnify His Name and
His love, forgiveness and healing will automatically flow into
you!
"And,
behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, if
Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth His hand,
and touched him, saying, I will, be thou clean. And immediately
his leprosy was cleansed." (Matthew 8:2-3)
By
seeking God through Jesus Christ, you will establish a vital
contact with the Great Physician and receive your miracle! People
who seek only a healing or a miracle without worshipping God, will
be greatly disappointed.
Always
remember, knowing GOD through Jesus Christ and the Blessed Holy
Spirit - without being healed physically - is far more
advantageous than getting only a physical healing miracle without
receiving Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
Jarius
was in a desperate situation. His daughter was at the point of
death when he decided to seek out the Master. Here is the Bible
account.
While
He spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain
ruler, and worshipped Him, saying, My daughter is even now dead:
but come and lay Thy hand upon her, and she shall live. Jesus
arose, and followed him, so did His disciples.
"And,
behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve
years, came behind Him, and touched the hem of His garment: For
she said within herself, If I may but touch His garment, I shall
be whole. But Jesus turned Him about, and when He saw her, He
said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee
whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour."
"And
when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and
the people making a noise, He said unto them, Give place: for the
maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed Him to scorn. But
when the people were put forth, He went in, and took her by the
hand, and the maid arose." (Matthew 9:18-25)
CAANANITE
WOMAN WORSHIPS JESUS AND JESUS HEALS HER DAUGHTER
"And,
behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried
unto Him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my
daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But He answered her not
a word. And His disciples came and besought Him, saying, Send her
away; for she crieth after us. But He answered and said, I am not
sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. hen
came she and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, help me."
"But
He answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread,
and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs
eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. Then Jesus
answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it
unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from
that very hour." (Matthew 15:22-28)
The
Bible states, "And as they went to tell His disciples.
behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held
him by the feet, and worshipped Him." (Matthew 28:9)
GOD
HEARS THE PRAYERS AND ANSWERS THOSE WHO WORSHIP HIM
Without
doubt, God hears and answers the prayers of those who worship Him.
And all who are saved and healed by God's power WILL desire to
worship Him!
The
blind man whom Jesus healed is a good example of that fact:
"Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had
found him, He said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
He answered and said, Who is He, Lord, that I might believe on
Him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen Him, and it is
He that talketh with thee."
"And
he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped Him." (John
9:35-38) To the Samaritan woman, Jesus said, "But
the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall
worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh
such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him
must worship Him in spirit and in truth." (John
4:23-24)

- YOU MUST HUMBLE YOURSELF
Pride
is a gigantic hindrance to receiving divine healing! "But He
answered and said it is not meet to take the children's bread, and
to cast it to dogs."
"And
she said, truth, Lord, yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall
from their master's table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her,
O woman, great is thy faith, be it unto thee even as thou wilt.
And her daughter was made whole from that very hour."
(Matthew 15:26-28)
Here
is the account of a Canaanite woman humbling herself in the sight
of God. When she did, Jesus granted her request! Her daughter was
healed!
HERE
IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW GOD REWARDS HUMILITY WITH HEALING
"So
Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the
door of the house of Elisha. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him,
saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall
come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean."
�But
Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He
will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the
Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the
leper. Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than
all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So
he turned and went away in a rage."
"And
his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father,
if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not
have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash,
and be clean?"
"Then
went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according
to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like
unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean." (2 Kings
5:9-14)
Many
people believe that they will receive something from God because
of WHO THEY ARE OR THINK THEY ARE! We do not receive healing
because we are worthy, but because we are needy. And Jesus Christ
met that need nearly 2000 years ago on the cross!
WE
RECEIVE HEALING FROM GOD BECAUSE OF HIS GRACE & MERCY
Because
of the mercy and grace of God, we can receive healing from God.
We do not receive healing because we deserve it, we do not receive
healing because we give money or do charity work. We receive
healing because it is a gift from God by his mercy.
It
is only because of His great generosity and mercy to us by sending
His Son Jesus Christ, to die in our place and purchase our
salvation, that we receive forgiveness and divine healing from His
gracious and loving hand!
We
must never forget that forgiveness, divine healing, the gifts and
graces of God which He bestows upon us are simply that - gifts of
God's mercy to us!

- BELIEVE IN GOD'S WORD AND THE INTEGRITY OF GOD TO KEEP HIS
PROMISES TO US
Believe
that God's Word is absolutely true and that it will never pass
away! The Heavens and the Earth will pass away, but God's Word
will stand forever. (Matthew 24:35) God's Word is as pure
and divine as God Himself (John 1:1-4).
STUDY
THE BIBLE - THE WORDS YOU READ IN THE BIBLE ARE THE WORDS OF GOD
The
Lord GOD Almighty is "back of" His Word, and it
will never fail (1 Kings 8:56). GOD has placed "His
Word" above "His Name" (Psalms 138:2). GOD'S
Word has gone out of His mouth in righteousness and will not
return void.
"So
shall My word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall
not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I
please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
(Isaiah 55:11) KJV
GOD
WILL PERFORM EVERY WORD HE HAS SPOKEN
God
will perform every Word He has spoken. "Then said the Lord
unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten My word to perform
it." (Jeremiah 1:12) "So shall My word be that goeth
forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it
shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the
thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11) Believe that God's
Word is the final authority and that it is good today. Then,
appropriate His Word to yourself, your own individual need.
Jesus
said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath
anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He hath sent
me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty
them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the
Lord." (Luke 4:18-20).
JESUS
ASKED THE BLIND MEN, DO YOU BELIEVE I AM ABLE TO HEAL
YOU ?
The
Bible says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by
the Word of God." (Romans 10:17) Jesus asked two blind
men, "Believest thou that I am able to do this (heal
them)?" They answered, 'Yea, Lord'.
JESUS
SAID TO THE MEN, ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH YOU ARE HEALED
Then
Jesus touched their eyes saying, "According to your faith be
it unto you", and they were instantly healed!
Jesus
said, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him
that believeth." (Mark 9:23)
"Believe
Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me: or else believe
Me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He
that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and
greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My
Father."
"And
whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the
Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in
My name, I will do it." (John 14:11-14)
 THE
BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD - TAKE GOD AT HIS WORD
The
Bible says, "...if thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice
of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight,
and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes,
I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought
upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord that healeth thee."
(Exodus 15:26)
JESUS
PROMISED, "ASK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN YOU;"
Jesus
promised: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall
find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that
asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that
knocketh it shall be opened." (Mattjhew 7:7-8)
"When
the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed
with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and HEALED
ALL THAT WERE SICK: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by
Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare
our sicknesses." (Matthew 8:16-17)
Seven
hundred years before His birth in Bethlehem, the Holy Spirit
promised divine healing through the Coming Messiah!
"But
He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our
iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with
His stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)
Here
is the beginning of the fulfillment of that prophecy: "Who
His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we,
being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by Whose
stripes ye were healed." (1 Peter 2:24)
JESUS
GAVE HIS CHURCH (US) THREE VERY IMPORTANT SPIRITUAL LAWS
There
are three very important spiritual laws which Jesus Christ gave
His Church:

The

These
three laws, when acted upon in faith, bring divine healing and
total deliverance to those who call upon the Lord in sincerity and
trust! "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind
on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose
on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
"Again
I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as
touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them
of My Father which is in heaven."
"For
where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in

Confess
to the Lord that you Believe His Word and that you Know He is your
Healer!
Concur
with the Scriptures. Agree with Jesus Christ, that you Accept His
promises as true and infallible! Confess to Him that you Believe
that "By His Stripes you are Healed."

Thank Him for healing you and Trust the Lord for complete
deliverance. Relax and get well for according to His Word, He has

SAVED ME FROM DEMONIC POWERS
God
saved me from the bondage of the devil and his demonic powers.
In my past life while serving the world, I fell victim to alcohol,
parties, sex, pride, riches of the world and drug dealing. I
used to think that I was so connected to the Hell's Angels and
other drug dealers that no one could ever hurt me. Not even
Satan himself. It was like I thought I was a part of the
Mafia. But of course, Satan, the father of lies, made me
think these thoughts that were totally untrue.
I
would use my car to transport $3000 worth of drugs to grown men
and kids at my school. I also did a lot of fraud by using
fake cheques to buy expensive items in big retail stores. I
had gold rings on all my fingers, a thick gold bracelet and golf
necklace with a $ sign pendant. Satan let me think that I
was the coolest person in the world but all he really wanted to do
is destroy my life and he wants to destroy yours too/
While
my Dad was an evangelist working with God, I would still present
myself to the world this way. So God judged me in my actions
by letting me flip a car into a 20 foot ditch merely missing two
trees and a huge boulder that would have crushed our heads if we
would have landed on it. While the car flipped over God
showed me that I was going to be okay!
After
this accident I had the choice to choose God and thank Him for
sparing my life and body from harm. I never did.
Instead I quit all the drug dealing but kept on partying even more
heavily.
Satan
would not let me see the light but God was still protecting me all
the time. When I drank alcohol, I would try to look cool for the
teenagers that went out to parties. I used to drink a 26 oz
of Crown Royal whiskey all by myself and show off all the gold I
had.
Everyone
at the party would think I was so cool, but it was the devil
deceiving me. My friends and girls would shout,
"Peter's here" when I would walk into the party as if I
was some kind of celebrity.
That
is how cool this world thought I was. For a 17 year old kid
to drink a 26 oz. by himself and not get hurt shows that God has
great mercy and protects us from evil all the time. But
never forget, when you do these things that Satan can harm you and
ruin your life too if you keep on giving into him.
I
remember when I thought that there was no hope for me, to ever
stop going to parties and nightclubs."
 BUT
THERE IS HOPE AND HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST
That
deceiving Satan blinded my eyes from seeing the light of Jesus
Christ by having my cell phone ring fifteen times a night on a
Friday and Saturday with my friends calling me to ask where to go
for the parties."
I
would tell them where to go; usually I would have a map where the
party was going to be. Satan used me to start parties for
him and I did not even know it, because he had my eyes blinded.
Now
it is time to get to the wonderful news of the Lord Jesus Christ
and how He saved me.
The
night before my graduation, I went out doing my normal partying on
the weekend. A non-drinker was driving me for one of the
first times. We were in a four door Honda Civic.
As
the night began, I thought that nothing at all was going to happen
to me because I was hanging out with geeks that didn't drink as
hard as I did. The night started off as usual. Before going
home, we decided to have one last drag race.
We
got up to 90 km/h and all of a sudden we heard a huge BANG!
We were hit from the side of the car - and wouldn't you
know it - by a biker.
As
soon as we collided, the car started to swerve and we began to
flip upside down into a ditch.
As our car was rolling, I thought, "Oh, not another
accident and then another story to brag about to my friends."
This
time, however, I did not sense that I would be alright.
We landed upside down in a swamp and instantly there was
water in the car and all I had was the breath that I went down
with and when the water hit me, it was freezing cold.
I
began to struggle for life. I felt around and I could feel
my friend's hat and I pictured it being a red hat. I knew I
was going to die! I felt the presence of death and I
couldn't understand it.
I
began to gasp for air and all I did was choke on water. It
was one of the most frightening feelings anyone can experience.
I then began to say, "I'm going to die tonight. I can't
believe it." I then began to repent towards God and I
said to Him, "If you ever let me out of this car tonight
God, I promise I will live for you and stop living this life and
fight for you."
After
I said this, I thought to find my self belt but when you are
upside down suspended in water, it isn't so easy. God's
Angels calmed me all the way through until I found it and I
clicked it and was released. Then I had to find air in the
car. There was a small air pocket where the back window and
the ledge of the back seat meet and this is where I got all the
air I needed.
"Two
of my friend's heads were also in that air pocket with me to get
our final breaths and find our way out of the car. There had
been four people in the car but the driver, Jason Prince, fell out
of the driver side window. My friend, Mike Hatch, found the
way out through the open window on the driver side. When he
escaped, it was just myself and Brandon Grey still in the car.
As
I looked into Brandon's eyes, I saw tremendous fear. We both
thought that we were going to die of suffocation. We grabbed
on to each other and said our last words. All of a sudden I
felt a hand grab my foot violently.
Instantly,
I knew God was going to spare my life! From there on, I knew the
way out of the car. By now the oxygen in the air pocket was
running out.
When
oxygen runs out, you begin to realize how important the breath you
now have is. I then went under water to get out but I got
stuck underneath the seat and the ceiling because I was too big,
so I began choking again.
I
got back into the air pocket with the help of my friend Brandon.
Then, I took my last breath of air and went down under water and
pushed my way through the car seats and through the driver's side
window. Brandon Grey followed me.
These
four were the geeks that I thought weren't cool enough, but
because they didn't drink, they had the ability to get out of the
car.
As
for the biker and the Hell's Angels that I thought were so
cool, the biker tried to fight us after he saw that we almost
died. He did not care for life at all. God instantly
showed me that these people are in such bondage, due to the
demonic powers that run their life. I pray for all their
souls and I hope that they and all my friends will see the light
of Jesus Christ one day!
I
believe this testimony can help a lot of people with their walk
with God."
Do
not let Satan rule your life because he will ruin your life!
God
is awesome and my life is so much better now that I'm serving Him
and not the world. Take it from someone that has seen both
sides.
I
was the most popular kid and thought that I would never give my
life to God because I THOUGHT I HAD IT ALL. Parties,
popularity, sex, and money - I thought I was the man, but I
wasn't!
I
had one experience of God's power and my old life instantly
changed. I would now choose
God over anything this world offers!

HOW
A DISTRESSED WIDOW
was saved from suicide
by a little boy
This
particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and
his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold
outside as well as pouring down rain.
The
boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said;
"OK dad, I'm ready." His Pastor dad asked, "Ready
for what?" "Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together
and go out." Dad responds, "Son, it's very cold outside
and it's pouring down rain."
The
boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking "But Dad, aren't
people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?" Dad
answers, "Son, I am not going out in this weather."
Despondently, the boy ask, "Dad, can I go? Please?"
His
father hesitated for a moment then said, "Son, you can go.
Here are the tracts, be careful son." "Thanks Dad!"
And with that, he was off and out into the rain.
This
eleven-year-old boy walked the streets of the town going door to
door and handing everybody he met in the street a Gospel Tract.
After
two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet
and down to his VERY LAST TRACT.
He
stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to, but
the streets were totally deserted. Then he turned toward the first
home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang
the doorbell.
He
rang the bell, but nobody answered. He rang it again and again,
but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer.
Finally,
this eleven-year-old trooper turned to leave, but something
stopped him. Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and
knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something
holding him there on the front porch. He rang again, and this time
the door slowly opened. Standing in the doorway was a very sad-
looking elderly lady.
She
softly asked "What can I do for you son?" With radiant
eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said,
"Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell
you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU,
and I came to give you my very last Gospel Tract which will tell
you all about JESUS and His great LOVE."
With
that, he handed her his last tract, and turned to leave. She
called to him as he departed. "Thank you, son! And God Bless
You!"
Well,
the following Sunday morning in church Pastor Dad was in the
pulpit. As the service began, he asked, "Does anybody have a
testimony or want to say anything?"
Slowly,
in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet.
As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her
face, "No one in this church knows me. I've never been here
before.
You
see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband passed
on some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world. Last
Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more
so in my heart that I came to the end of the line where I no
longer had any hope or will to live.
So
I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic
of my home. I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof,
then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope
around my neck.
Standing
on that chair, so lonely and broken hearted I was about to leap
off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs
startled me. I thought, I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will
go away.
"I
waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder
and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started
knocking loudly.
I
thought to myself again, "Who on earth could this be?! Nobody
ever rings my bell or comes to see me."
I
loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all
the while the bell rang louder and louder.
When
I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for
there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little
boy I had ever seen in my life.
His
SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you! And the words that
came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead, TO
LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice,
"Ma'am, I just came to tell you that JESUS
REALLY DOES LOVE YOU."
Then
he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand. As the
little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed
my door and read slowly every word of this Gospel Tract.
Then
I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be
needing them any more. You see, "I am now a Happy Child of
the KING and since the address of your church was on the back of
this Gospel Tract, I have come here to personally say THANK YOU TO
God's little angel who came just in the nick of time and, by so
doing, spared my soul from eternity in hell."
There
was not a dry eye in the church. And as shouts of praise and honor
to THE KING resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor
Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little
angel was seated.
He
took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably. Probably no
church has had a more glorious moment, And probably this universe
has never seen a Papa that was more filled with love & honor
for his son...Except for One.
This
Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold and dark world.
He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as all of
heaven shouted praises and honor to The King, The Father sat His
beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and
every name that is named.
James
1:27 - Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is
this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and
to keep himself unspotted from the world.
SATAN
DIVIDES BUT
GOD UNITES

is the Father of the 'Divide and Conquer' doctrine which
has been used effectively by totalitarian nations like the Nazis,
Communists and Muslims and others in the centuries past. Of
course, He has used it in democratic countries, as well as others
for centuries.
Therefore,
it should not be a surprise that he has employed that disastrous
tactic in almost all forms of government, academia, business,
society, the home and even in the church!
It
was LUCIFER who initiated the 'divide and conquer' strategy.
He alone is responsible for the divisiveness that is so prevalent
in the world today, pitting nation against nation, race against
race, gender against gender, brother against brother and man
against God! It was he was rose up in rebellion against his
Creator. It was Lucifer, the trusted archangel, who
influenced one third of the holy angels of God to follow him in an
unholy insurrection against the Almighty!
The
Bible states: "And there was a was in Heaven: Michael and his
angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his
angels, and prevailed not, Neither was their place found any more
in Heaven. And the great Dragon was cast out, that old
serpent called the Devil, and Satan, which deceived the whole
world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast
out with him."
"And
I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven; Now is come salvation, and
strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ;
for the accuser of the Brethren is cast down which accused them
before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the
BLOOD of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they
loved not their lives unto the end."
"Therefore
rejoice, ye Heavens and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the
inhibiters of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is
come down unto you, having great wrath because he knoweth that he
hath but a short time." (Revelation 12:7-12)
SATAN
TURNED MAN AGAINST GOD!
Satan
is a cleaver manipulator, divider, destroyer and destabilizer!
He destroys individuals, marriages, homes, churches, communities,
nations and civilization itself. In the beginning he
destroyed the beautiful relationship that our Heavenly Father had
with ADAM and EVE, which has had a catastrophic effect on the
human race ever since!
As
a consequence, man was banished from the Garden of Eden, lost the
beautiful Father/son intimacy with their Creator and God, Man's
innocence and right to eternal life was snatched away as sin, fear
and death loomed large before them, causing fear, guilt and a
terror filled leap into an unknown future!
Almost
immediately, the 'divide and conquer spirit' brought
discord between the sons of Adam and Eve. Satan injected
jealousy into the heart of Cain again Abel, causing the first
murder on planet earth. It is not a natural impulse for a
man to murder his brother, but Cain fell for Satan's lies and took
his brother's life. Murder has been duplicated millions of
times over the centuries!
SATAN
ENTICED JUDAS WITH GREED!

is almost unbelievable that our Lord would choose twelve disciples
and spend three years training and teaching them all about the
Kingdom of God, righteousness, holiness, mercy, truth, Heaven and
Hell, and one of them betrayed Him. Jesus
had nurtured the twelve Apostles, shared the deep mysteries of His
incarnation, role as God's Paschal Lamb, His death, resurrection
and coming Glory and yet His secretary Treasurer, JUDAS, stole
from the Bag and eventually sold Him for 30 pieces of silver.
The
Bible says: "And the chief priests and scribes sought how
they might kill Him, for they feared Him. Then ENTERED SATAN into
Judas surnamed Iscariot, being one of the twelve. And he went his
way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he
might betray Him unto them. And they were glad, and covenanted to
give him money. And he promised and sought opportunity to betray
Him unto them in the absence of the multitude." (Luke 22:
3-6)
JUDAS'
betrayal of Jesus for money is a stark lesson to us of the
sinister and evil mind set of Satan in his war against the Gospel
and Christ's Body, His Church!
Ever
since then, the Devil has on numberless occasions found dishonest,
jealous and greedy workers in God's Kingdom who take advantage of
gullible, unsuspecting believers to support them economically and
psychologically, often to their own hurt and that of the Church.
Anyone who hurts the Church to gain his own ends is Satan's
tool!
Remember,
that Satan DIVIDES but Jesus UNITES.
Satan divided man from God, but Jesus brought man back to God
through His sacrificial death on the Cross!
MUSLIM
NATIONS HATE ONE ANOTHER!
Fast
forward to our time and see the rage, hate, dishonesty, pillage,
mayhem and murder, happening now between Muslim nations, as they
reach for the golden ring of power over their brethren. Although
they hate each other, they hate Jews and Christians more and
according to their teaching will one day rule the world through a
Muslim Caliphate, led by the Grand Mahdi or the 12th Imam!
We
believe that horrific 'Murderer in Chief' could very
well be the Antichrist who will be cast into the Lake of Fire
together with the False Prophet and Satan himself. Here are Jesus'
Words on the subject: "And the Devil that deceived them was
cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the Beast
(antichrist) and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day
and night forever and ever." (Revelation 20: 10)
Their
Sharia Law gives them the right to kill every Jew and Christian to
set up a world Caliphate of Sharia Law. How Satan must exult in
his evilness as he sees the raping, beheadings, torture and
murders happening now in the Middle East, Africa and other nations
by al-Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram, Taliban and the Muslim Brotherhood!
AN
ENEMY HATH DONE THIS
"Another
parable put He forth unto them, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is
likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while
men slept his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went
his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth
fruit, then appeared the tares." (Matthew 13:24-26)
SATAN
has been busy sowing tares among the wheat. He has infiltrated
many churches with the promotion of his soft sell Gospel, greasy
grace, easy believism, same-sex marriage, abortion, Chrislam and
other damning doctrines!
The
Bible warns: "These six things both the Lord Hate: yea, seven
are an abomination unto Him...he that soweth DISCORD among
brethren." (Proverbs 6:16-19)
"Now,
I beseech you, brethren, Mark them which cause DIVISIONS and
offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned: and avoid
them." (Romans 16:17)
St.
Paul says: "Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit
yourselves; for they watch for your souls, as they that must give
account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for
that is unprofitable for you.
"Now
the God of peace that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus,
that great Shepherd of the sheep, make you perfect, through the
Blood of the Everlasting Covenant, make you perfect in every good
work to do His will, working in you that which is well pleasing in
His sight, through Jesus Christ: to Whom be glory forever and
ever. Amen." (Hebrews 13:17, 20, 21) PRAISE

devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may
devour."
THE
DEVIL IS REAL, HE IS YOUR ENEMY. THE DEVIL
WANTS TO DESTROY YOU
"....that
through DEATH He might DESTROY him that had the power of death,
that is the DEVIL: And DELIVER them who through fear of death
were all their lifetime subject to bondage." (Hebrews
2:14-15)
For
the past 40 years, I have had the privilege
of counseling people who have written, telephoned or approached me
privately regarding family and personal problems or other crisis,
in which they were deeply involved.
People
often call, muttering on the other end of line, "Why did I do
it? What makes me drink? I've got to pull myself together.
I'm losing my mind."
They
often end up by saying, "I hadn't planned to do it, Pastor.
What went wrong"? Or they might say, "The devil
made me do it, the devil made me do it".
A
few years ago a Hollywood comedian got a lot of laughs out of his
supposedly funny quip, "The Devil Made Me Do It."
That doesn't seem funny anymore, after the movies that have
stirred millions, like Rosemary's Baby, The Exorcist and The Omen.
The
Son of Sam, the Hillside Strangler, Charles Manson and the Sharon
Tate killings, together with ritualistic killings by the
occultists and devil worshippers have proved that.
Homosexual murdered like John W. Gacey, who sexually violated
little boys and then murdered them, have left a solemn
imprint on us all, regarding the devil's ability to make people do
his bidding.
The
Bible states that some people are led by the devil, to do evil
things. Those,
however, who are taken captive by him - at his will - are able to
extricate themselves from his evil grasp by calling upon Jesus
Christ and trusting in His shed blood for the redemption of their
souls! "And that they may recover themselves out of
the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his
will." (2 Timothy 2:26)
Some
time ago a Protestant denomination spent in excess of one million
dollars to investigate and research the topic of demons and other
related matters. After a year of studies they came up with
the conclusion that there is no devil.
Here
is their reasoning: "If they would preach that there is a
personal devil, people might become disturbed emotionally, so it's
better to do away with the doctrine that there is a personal
devil." HOW ARROGANT, UNCONSCIONABLE, DISHONEST
& UNBIBLICAL.
Beloved,
you can rely on God's Word and the truth is that there is indeed a
very alive, real, personal devil that is the enemy of God and the
enemy of man. This however, does not disturb the children of
God, because the Bible says:
Greater
is He that is in you, that he that is in the world.
(1 John 4:4)
This
Scripture offers great comfort to multiplied millions of
Christians. Our faith in Jesus puts the devil on notice,
that we are off limit to his insidious attacks and that we have
the authority to disrupt his plans and purposes.
The
devil has absolutely no power over us when our faith is in Christ,
for Jesus said: "Behold I
give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over
all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt
you." (Luke 10:19)
This

authority to disrupt his plans and purposes.
The
Bible says "Submit
yourselves therefore unto God. Resist the devil, and he will
flee from you."
As
the demons were afraid of Jesus and fled when He commanded them to
go, they must also obey us when we speak with faith and authority
in the name of Jesus.
The
demons screamed out, "Let us alone,
what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou
come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art the Holy One of
God. Art thou come hither to torment us before our
time"? (Mark 1:24)
You
may say: "But that was Jesus"! True! How
about a Spirit-filled deacon by the name of Philip who went down
to Samaria and preached Christ to them?
Philip
had such a great revival that the entire city came to hear him
preach and multitudes received the Lord Jesus: "For
unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that
were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that
were lame, were healed." (Acts 8:7)
The
Holy Record reports that the devil's power was broken and evil
spirits had to surrender to the commands of a Spirit-filled
servant of God. No wonder Philip had such power of the
devil. Jesus had promised: "And
these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they
cast out devils." (Mark 16:17)
PAUL
CAST OUT THE SPIRIT OF DIVINATION
A
fortune-teller troubled Paul and Silas in the city of Philippi for
several days. After the spirit of divination was discerned
and cast out of her by St. Paul, she was unable to continue
'telling fortunes'. Paul and Silas were jailed and bound in
a dungeon, but God sent an earthquake to set them free. And
the jailer was converted through this great miracle.
And
it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed
with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much
gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried,
saying, These men are the servants of the most High God, which
shows unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many
days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the
spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of
her. And he came out the same
hour." (Acts
16:16-18)
The
Scripture says: "And God wrought
special miracles by the hands of Paul. So that from this
body were brought unto the sick, handkerchiefs and aprons, and the
diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of
them." (Acts 19:11-12)
When
the exorcists heard of St. Paul's success in casting of demons in
Jesus' name, seven sons of a certain religious man tried
unsuccessfully to duplicate that miracle.
Then
certain of the vagabond Jews, Exorcists, took upon them to call
over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus
saying, We adjure you by Jesus Whom Paul preacheth. And
there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the
priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and
said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know: but who are ye?"
And
the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame
them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that
house naked and wounded. And this was known to all the Jews
and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all,
and the name of
the Lord Jesus was magnified." (Acts
19:13-17)
The
evil spirit within this possessed man cried out to the seven sons
of Sceva. "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are
ye"? The original Greek actually reads: "Jesus I
know, and Paul I am beginning to know". Words had
sprung through the devil's kingdom, and demons everywhere were
talking about Paul's revivals. They knew Jesus and they were
beginning to know Paul, but who were these seven sons of Sceva?
They had no faith in God; they had no standing of righteousness,
and the devil would not obey them.
The
Bible records: "And when He (Jesus) had called unto Him His
twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to
cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner
of diseases." (Matthew 10:1) The Scripture declares
that no only do we have power against unclean spirits, but we also
have power over them. "And
he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two
and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;" (Mark
6:7)
Our
Lord Jesus gave the apostles power to cast out devils: "As
ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out
devils: freely ye have received, freely give." (Matthew
10:7-8) The Holy Record states: "And
they cast out devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick,
and healed them." (Mark
6:13)
JESUS
GAVE THE 70 HIS POWER TO CAST OUT DEVILS
"After
these things the Lord appointed another seventy also, and sent
them two and two before His face into every city and place,
whither He Himself would come." (Luke
10:1) The Bible says that they returned with great joy, and
said: "Lord, even the devils are
subject unto us through Thy name." (Luke 10:17)
To this Jesus answered: "I beheld
Satan as lightning fall from heaven." (Luke 10:18)
Jesus was saying - I was there when the devil was defeated; I saw
him cast out of heaven - I saw him fall as lightning to the earth.
I saw his power broken and his works destroyed.
WE
ALSO HAVE POWER OVER THE DEVIL, DEMONS & EVIL SPIRITS
Yes,
we also have power over the devil. We have POWER OVER THE
DEVIL and POWER AGAINST THE DEVIL. The
Bible says, "Behold, I give unto you power to: tread on
serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and
nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Luke 10:19)
Satan
had to obey when Jesus spoke to him! Demons screamed out in
terror when Jesus came near. The devils trembled and feared
and obeyed the command of the Master. The devil, demons and
evil spirits must also obey us, when we use the name of Jesus in
faith.
JESUS
CAME TO DESTROY SATAN'S WORK
The
Bible says: "As He is, so are we in
this world." (1 John 4:17) NOW - TODAY.
We have His power today! "Now
are we the sons of God." (1
John 3:2) We are children of God, heirs of God and joint
heirs with Jesus Christ. "And if children, then
heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we
suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."
(Romans 8:17)
JESUS
SAID: "HE THAT BELIEVETH ON ME, THE WORKS
THAT I DO SHALL HE DO ALSO"
No
wonder Jesus said: "He that
believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater
works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father."
(John 14:12) Yes, my beloved friend, you and I as
Christians have power over the devil, we have power against the
devil to bind him, to cast him out and to destroy the works of the
devil.
The
Bible says: "How God anointed
Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power; who went
about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for God was
with Him."
(Acts 10:38) Jesus said: "The thief (the devil)
cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am
come that they might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly." (John 10:10) No wonder St. John said: "For
this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy
the works of the devil." (1 John 3:8)
Not
only did Jesus come to this earth to destroy the works of the
devil, but to destroy Satan himself. The write to the
Hebrews (probably St. Paul) states unequivocally: "Forasmuch
then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also
Himself likewise took part of the same; that through DEATH He
might DESTROY him that had the power of death, that is the DEVIL;
And to DELIVER them who through fear of death were all their
lifetime subject to bondage." (Hebrews 2:14, 15)
SATAN
- THE DEVIL IS THE HATED ENEMY OF GOD & MAN
Satan
is the
hated enemy of God and man, but our Lord has given His children
power over him.
"There
shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh unto
thy dwelling". Jesus declared: "Nothing shall be
any means hurt you". "That wicked one
cometh and hath nothing in Me."
St. Paul said, "Sin shall not
have dominion over you."
THE
DEVIL - SATAN HAS NO POWER OVER US
And
our Lord stated, "I give unto you power over all the power of
the enemy." Jesus has given us power against all
unclean spirits, to cast them out. SATAN IS POWERLESS OVER
US.
The
Bible does not say that Satan has power over us; to put disease
upon us, to make us fearful, to hurt us or to injure us. A
THOUSAND TIMES NO.
The
Bible says: "Submit yourself therefore to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)
"The devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about,
seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist steadfast in the
faith." (1
Peter 5:8, 9)
IT
IS TRUE - YOU AND I AS CHRISTIANS HAVE
POWER OVER THE DEVIL
Jesus
said: "I
have overcome the world." (John 16:33) St. Paul
declared: "Nay, in all things we are more than
conquerors through Him that loved us." (Romans
8:37) The
Apostle to the Gentiles cried out: "I can do all
things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (Philippians
4:13)
The
Word of God says: "Who shall separate us from the love
of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or
famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these
things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to
come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able
to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord." (Romans 8:35-39)
The
Bible speaks of Satan's total defeat: "At the name of
Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in
earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the
Father." (Philippians 2:10-11)
Praise God.
Jesus
called the devil Satan, which means the ADVERSARY, and Satan is
the adversary of God and the devil Satan is the adversary of man.
HE IS OUR GREATEST ENEMY! The devil is responsible for sin,
sickness, disease, fear, depression, torment and death.
Satan (the devil) conspired against God. The devil led a
revolt against the Almighty. Satan (the devil) is indeed the
adversary. St. Peter said: "Be
sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring
lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."
(1 Peter 5:8)
The
Scripture tells us about a man who planted good seed in a field
and in the morning, tares had sprung up among the wheat. The
husbandman said: "An
enemy hath done this."
(Matthew 13:28)
YES
- THE DEVIL IS YOUR WORST ENEMY
Yes,
my beloved friend, the devil is your enemy! The devil works
through the flesh, through the world through his evil emissaries,
the demons. Satan (the devil) is highly organized; the devil
is out to defeat the purposes of God even though he knows he has
NO chance of succeeding, for he has been defeated.
On
Calvary's cross Jesus cried, "It is finished." (John
19:30) The Greek word that Jesus used here is tetelastai.
Tetelestai means that the work of Christ to redeem lost mankind
has been completed.
Jesus
cried out "Tetelestai", bowed His head and gave
up the ghost. At that moment the veil in the temple in
Jerusalem was torn from its top to the bottom, opening the way to
God through His Son's vicarious death on the cross. The word
'tetelstai' comes from a Greek verb teleo, which has three
essential meanings:
to
finish something
to fulfill something
to pay what is owed
Jesus
Christ had just completed the plan of the ages, the salvation of
the human race. He had fulfilled every Old Testament
Scriptures that the prophets had written about the coming Messiah,
and He had paid our sin debt in full so that we could be saved.
Three
days and three nights later, God raised Jesus Christ from the dead
for our justification, and forever sealed the doom of the devil in
the lake of fire. (Acts 2:31-34; Acts 3:14-15; Acts
4:1, 10; Romans 1:4)
SPIRITUAL
WARFARE - THE BATTLE WE ARE FIGHTING IS A SPIRITUAL BATTLE
The
Bible reveals that the battle we are fighting is NOT CARNAL.
It is not a natural, ordinary battle, but is of a spiritual
nature. We have God's weapons and we have power with God
over the devil. "For the weapons of our warfare are
not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of
strongholds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that
exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into
captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." (2
Corinthians 10:4)
We
have power over the devil (Luke 10:19) for we are ambassadors of
the kingdom of God. (2 Corinthians 5:20) We are servants of
the living God; (Romans 6:22) sons and daughters of God; (2
Corinthians 6:18) heirs and joint-heirs with Christ. (Romans 8:17)
We
are bone of Jesus' bone and flesh of His flesh; (Ephesians 5:30)
our bodies are the temples of the Holy Ghost, (1 Corinthians 6:19)
and we are members of the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:27)
Sin
does not have dominion over us. (Romans 6:14) Satan (the
devil) does not have power over us. We have power over the
flesh, the world and the devil, because we are God's people.
We are God's children. (Galatians 3:26) As He is, so are we
in this world! (1 John 4:17) The Bible states that the 'Old
Man' is dead and that we are "hid with Christ in God"!
(Colossians 3:3)
The
Scriptures reveal that there are demons who work against God's
children and against God's will: "Then said he unto
me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set
thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God,
thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words."
But
the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty
days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes came to help me;
and I remained there with the kings of Persia."
(Daniel 10:12-13)
I
believe that Satan is highly organized and has some powerful
generals, captains, lieutenants and others in his diabolical army,
whose duty is to harass, tempt, condemn, seduce, deceive, destroy,
steal, kill and murder God's children and try to thwart the
purposes of God and do harm to His kingdom.
The
Bible says:
"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ
Jesus." (Philippians 2:5)
We can have the mind of Christ. "Let
the word of God dwell in you richly." (Colossians
3:16) Jesus is the Living Word and the Bible is the written
word. When we read the Bible and allow God's Word free
course, Christ dwells within us. Upon receiving Jesus Christ
as Lord and Saviour, Christ is formed within us and we are born
again. The Bible says: "If
any man have not met the Spirit of Christ, he is none of
His." (Romans 8:9)
When
we receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, however, the Holy Spirit
fills us and takes up permanent residence within us. Jesus
said:
"He is with you and He shall be in you."
The Bible says: "And
they were all filled with the Holy Ghost..."
(Acts 2:4)
Even
though the devil is highly organized and seeks to destroy us, and
even though he is constantly try to afflict, depress and torment,
we can drive him out: "Draw
nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you."
When you draw nigh to God and God draws nigh to you, you receive
power over the devil. The Bible says: "If
our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him..." (1
John 3:21-22)
The
Scripture says: "There is therefore now no
condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after
the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans
8:1) Sin is what destroys the confidence we have in God.
Sin is a faith destroyer. Sin destroys our confidence in God
and in ourselves and allows the devil to slip in with his evil,
devious, wicked and sinister devices to harass us, stop us, or
destroy us.
We
have power over him, however, for the Bible says: "They
overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word
of their testimony." (Revelation
12:11) We can stop the devil, for the Bible says: "When
the enemy, (the devil) shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of
God shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah
59:19) The standard that the Holy Spirit lifts up stops the
devil and he can proceed only so far; he can go no further.
The
devil complained to God: "You
have put a hedge around Job. You are protecting him."
And that's true, God has
placed a hedge around His people, and I believe that when the
devil comes in like a flood to destroy, kill and murder, the
Spirit of God raises up a standard to stop him. We are surrounded
by the power of the Lord.
We
are covered with His blood and filled with His Spirit. The
Word of God is within our hearts. We have the name of Jesus
on our lips, the angels protect us and we have brothers and
sisters in Christ who pray for us and stand with us. These
are some of the agencies God used for our benefit.
Yes
indeed, when the enemy - the devil - shall come in like a flood to
devastate and destroy, the Spirit of God will lift up a standard
against him and stop him! The devil is like a dog on a leash, with
only limited capabilities.
SATAN
CAN ONLY GO SO FAR
If
God hadn't allowed the devil to attack Job, Satan couldn't have
touched him. God gave
the devil permission to touch Job's cattle, and his body, but not
his life. (Job 2:6) Satan had to leave the presence of God
to smite Job with sore boils. The Bible instructs us to
remember the patience of Job and the end of the Lord.
Job was sick for approximately six months to a year, and
then God healed him. He lived for another 140 years and never had
another boil, as far as the Scriptures record.
God
gave Job twice as much as he had before the devil afflicted him.
Many people laughingly speak about Job's boils and say that
Christians have to suffer similarly, but the Bible records the
"patience of Job" and it also speaks about "the end
of the Lord". (James 5:11) The end of the Lord was
blessing, prosperity, healing, health, joy, peace and power over
the devil.
St.
Paul wrote to Timothy: "God
hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love,
and of a sound mind." (2
Timothy 1:7) Evidently, Timothy was afraid and St. Paul
writing to his son in the faith saying: "You don't have to
be afraid, Timothy. God hasn't given us a spirit of
fear." Fear is a spirit and fear hath torment. The
Scripture says: "Perfect love casts out fear." (1
John 4:18)
Fear
is an evil spirit. God
has not given us any evil spirits; He has given us power over evil
spirits.
God
has not given us a spirit of fear, but God has given us a spirit
of power: Power over fear: power of sin: power
over the devil: power over sickness: power over
disease and even power over death, which is the last enemy.
It
seems that Timothy had gotten cold in his soul, because St. Paul

Apparently,
Timothy had become ashamed of St. Paul and he was afraid of
persecution; afraid that he would also be persecuted. Paul
said: "You don't need to be afraid; God didn't give you
that; the devil put that on you. God has given you power,
love and a sound mind." Hallelujah.
BE
PREPARED FOR BATTLE - PUT ON THE
WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD
Writing
to the Ephesians, St. Paul stated. "Finally, my brethren,
be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to
stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness
of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
"Wherefore
take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and
having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod
with the preparation of the gospel of peace;"

Satan
is organized and has power, but God has all power.
God is omnipotent. The devil has wisdom, but God has all
wisdom. He is omniscient. The Wicked One, Satan is
strong, but God has all strength. The Adversary (Satan) has
many demons working for him, but God has more angels than Satan
has evil spirits. Satan has many lost souls in his camp, but
God has hundreds of millions of believers across the world, that
are equipped with His mighty power. And one man with God's
power is a majority.
JESUS
GAVE US POWER OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY

Jesus
Christ said, "Behold,
I give unto you power over all the power of the enemy, and nothing
shall by any means hurt you."
The Scripture says that 'one day' an angel will come from heaven
and bind Satan, casting him into the bottomless pit for a thousand
years. It won't take ten thousand angels; it won't take a
hundred angels' it will take one angel to bind the devil and cast
him into the pits of hell forever. (Revelation 20:1-3)

'Attending
Church' is not enough! One should make every effort to find a
church where there are signs, wonders and miracles - where God's
power is recognized.
How
else can you prove it is 'the Church'? St. Paul stated that God
'has placed miracles' in the Church. (1 Corinthians 12:28) He
commanded that we turn away from those who have 'a form of
godliness and deny the power of God'. (1 Timothy 3:5-7)
Surely,
Jesus Christ will return for the same glorious Church (Ephesians
5:27) which He had in New Testament times! Will you, my friend, be
a part of His glorious Church or a cold, lukewarm or dead church?
The Bible says, "Be ye holy, for I am holy, saith the
Lord". (1 Peter 1:16) Amen.
WHAT
MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
Jesus
said, "Come unto Me all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
Yes,
my dear friend, God is still in the business of setting men and
women free from their sins, sorrows, heartbreaks, fears and
troubles. In this age of frustrations, nervous tensions and
mental collapses, Jesus Christ is still granting peace to the
troubled, joy to the discouraged, strength to the weary and
healing to the sick!

- YOU MUST ADMIT THAT YOU ARE A SINNER
The
Bible says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory
of God." (Rom. 3:23) "All we like sheep have gone
astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath
laid on Him the iniquity of us all." (Isaiah 53:6)

- YOU MUST BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD
You
MUST believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that Jesus died
on the cross, was buried and rose again from the dead.
"That
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal
life. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already." (John 3:15,18)
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and
believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall

DO I INVITE
JESUS CHRIST INTO MY LIFE?
Pray
to God, a prayer - from your heart.
Tell
Him that you are a sinner and that you need forgiveness.
Tell him that you believe Jesus Christ died for your sins.
Tell him that you are willing to change, to turn away from sin.
Ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life and be your
personal Saviour.
"But
as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on his name." (John 1:12)
"Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2
Corinthians 5:17)

I ASK YOU A QUESTION? ARE YOU READY TO MEET GOD?
The
most important question I could ask you and the most important
decision of your entire lifetime revolves around the spiritual
welfare of your soul and its eternal destiny.
There
are preachers today who have soft-soaped the Gospel and watered
down God's word to please their listeners in order to keep their
parishioners coming to church.
They
are afraid that if they preach the truth, as it is written, people
will not like it and their offering plates will not bring in too
much money.
The
Bible warns that this would be the case in the end time, of which
we are now living. (2 Timothy 3:13) (2 Timothy 4:3-4). The Apostle
Paul calls such preachers Food Preachers or Belly Preachers.
(Romans 16:18) (Philippians 3:19) These men only preach to earn a
living and not to win men and women to Jesus Christ.
I'm
going to be absolutely honest with you and tell you the complete
truth as found in God's Word concerning your soul, death,
judgment, heaven, hell and eternity and the gift of salvation.
Then I will also show you how you can be saved and forgiven by the
precious blood of Jesus Christ.

HOW
CAN I BE SAVED?
Many
are asking this question today. They are wanting to know how to
"make things right with Almighty God." They realize
somewhere along the way, they have lost sight of God - they have
lost contact with the Eternal One - the Great Creator, God, who
loved the world so much that He sent His Son to die for lost
humanity.
Multitudes
today are groping in darkness - looking for a ray of light to
point them to the Heavenly way - but alas, they search in vain,
they stumble and fall in the shadows of sin, worry, fear, anxiety,
loneliness, heartbreak, sickness and confusion.
Many
people have tried to live a better life, turn over a new leaf,
rehabilitate themselves, only to find that their strength in the
time of testing and temptation has failed and they are back where
they started. So now, not only are they defeated, but they are
also bewildered, perplexed and tormented, not knowing which way to
turn.
Dear
Reader, perhaps you are one of these poor unfortunate souls. THEN
LISTEN CAREFULLY, for I have good news for you. There is still
balm in Gilead for your sin sick soul. There is still deliverance
for the bound, victory for the defeated and peace for the
troubled. There is still healing for the sick and salvation for
the lost.
THERE
IS STILL HOPE - LOOK TO JESUS
THERE
IS STILL HOPE FOR YOU. There is
life for you. There is still forgiveness and happiness for you. LOOK
TO JESUS, the author and finisher of your faith, (Hebrews
12:3).
LOOK
TO JESUS, the mighty conqueror
(Revelation 1:17-18).
LOOK
TO JESUS, the Saviour of the
World (Luke 2:11).
Don't
look at your sinful condition, LOOK TO JESUS; don't look
at your hopelessness, frustration and bewilderment, LOOK TO
JESUS.
Don't
look at your sickness, grief and loneliness, LOOK TO JESUS.
Don't
look at your friends of other Christians who have failed, but LOOK
TO JESUS who never fails.
The
Bible says in Isaiah 45:22, "Look unto me and be ye saved,
all the ends of the earth: for I am God and there is NONE
else."
There
is only one way to be saved and that is through Jesus Christ, the
Son of the Living God.
Jesus
said in (John 14:6), "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life,
no man cometh unto the Father but by me." Jesus said in (John
10:9), "I am the Door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be
SAVED, and shall go in and out and find pasture."
THERE
IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GO - that way is JESUS. There is only one
door to God, and that door is Jesus. There is no other.
Mohammed,
Buddha and the Roman Pope, a church organization - none of these
will open the doors to the Kingdom of Heaven, but Jesus Christ,
the one who came from heaven, who died on the Cross, rose again
from the dead - He is able to forgive you, save you and bring you
into the Kingdom of God. GLORY TO HIS NAME FOREVER.
The
Apostle Peter said in (Acts 4:12) concerning Jesus Christ,
"Neither is there Salvation in any other, for there is none
other name under Heaven, given among men whereby we must be
SAVED." There you have it. the only name that can bring
salvation, blessing and deliverance is the Mighty Name of Jesus.
The Angel said unto Joseph (Matthew 1:21), "Ye shall call His
Name Jesus, for He shall SAVE His people from their sins." In
(Romans 10:13) we read, "For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be SAVED."
The
Philippian jailer asked the same question many today are asking
and he got an answer he was converted, his life was changed. He
met the master, Jesus. You can do the same. There in the prison
house he cried out (Acts 16:30), "Sirs, what must I do to be
saved?" Paul answered, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
and be Saved." He believed on Jesus Christ and was Saved. you
can do the same.
But
you ask - how can I believe? What must I do to believe in Jesus
Christ? Where do I start? I am glad you asked these questions,
because I have the answer for you from God's word - Here is what
you must do to be saved.
#1
- REPENT OF YOUR SINS
To
be saved you must repent of your sins and see yourself as you
really are - You must realize you are lost and undone, without
hope. You must see God's Holiness and realize that you have
sinned against the Almighty. You must be sorry for your sins, you
must hate your sins and be willing to forsake them (Matthew 4:17)
your sins have condemned you (John 3:18) your sins have separated
you from God (Isaiah 59:2). The Bible says (Romans 3:23),
"For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of
God." Also in (Isaiah 53:6) the word of God says, "All
we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own
way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."
GOD
HATES YOUR SINS
- but God loves you. God wants to rescue you out of your sins. You
must be willing to give yourself completely over to God and turn
your back on all unrighteousness.
#2
- YOU MUST CONFESS YOU SINS TO GOD
(1
John 1:9) "If we confess our sins (to God), He is faithful
and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness." You must tell God you are a sinner and that
you cannot save yourself. You must confess to God that no one else
can save you except Jesus Christ. You must ask God to have mercy
on you (Luke 18:13) and to forgive you. Then you must confess to
God that you believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that Jesus
Christ died on the Cross of Calvary for your sins, that He rose
again from the dead and that He is able to save you (1 Corinthians
15:1-4) (Hebrews 7:25).

- YOU MUST ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOUR
Tell
God that you accept His pardon and that you now, through faith in
God's word accept Jesus Christ into your heart and life.
(Ephesians 2:8-9) "For by grace are you saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works,
lest any man should boast." Salvation is absolutely free -
you cannot work for it - you cannot pay for it - It is free - you
just receive it from God.
After
you have prayed to God asking Him to forgive you - then you must
believe He has heard your prayer and forgiven your sins. That is
faith. You say that is hard to do. No - it isn't. If you believe
that God told the truth and the Bible is God's word - God will
do what He said He would do. If you have prayed the sinner's
prayer asking God to forgive you, (then he has forgiven you; His
word tells you that and His word is the truth) and if you are
forgiven, then you are saved. You must then continue to live in
God's way - you must live for God. Believe that you are saved,
begin to praise and worship God and thank him for saving your
soul.
But
you have doubts and say, "I don't feel any different."
You say you still feel the way you did before, you don't feel
like you are saved. Always remember, you are NOT SAVED by your
feelings, you are saved by FAITH IN GOD'S WORD. If God said it -
it is the truth, whether you feel like it or not. However, when
you stand of God's word and by faith accept the Salvation that
God offers, you WILL FEEL DIFFERENT.
You
will believe before you feel - you will feel the cleansing, you
will feel the forgiveness of God, you will feel the assurance when
you believe God's word and have confessed Jesus Christ as your
Saviour. (Romans 10:9-10).
You
will begin to feel peace, the peace that comes from knowing you
are saved, that your sins have been forgiven and you will feel
hope and optimism.
The
Word of God states (John 6:37), Jesus said, "Him that cometh
unto Me, I will in no wise cast out." You have come to Jesus
by faith; He has not cast you out - Jesus has taken you in - you
are SAVED. Praise God.
Raise
your hands to God (in complete obedience and surrender). Say
"thank you, Jesus, for saving my soul." Praise Him and
Worship Him for what He has done for you.
You
are now saved, you have passed from death unto life (John 5:24).
Your name has now been written in the "Lamb's Book of
Life." (Revelation 20:15) The Angels are rejoicing in Heaven
over this great victory over the devil. God has snatched your soul
from Satan's grasp and the angels are rejoicing over this. (Luke
15:7)
RISE
from you knees full of peace (John 14:27). Now go and tell someone
about Jesus Christ and his love. Tell people what God has done for
you. (Romans 10:9-10) "That if thou shalt confess with thy
mouth, the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God
hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED. For with the
heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth
confession is made unto Salvation."
Seek
the Lord (James 4:8) and ask Him to fill you with the holy Ghost
and Fire.
Ask
God to give you power for service (Luke 3:16) (Acts 1:4) (Acts
1:8) (Acts 2:4) (Acts 2:38-39). Read your Bible every day and pray
to the Lord Jesus Christ.
As
you go about your life, witness to people about Jesus Christ. Find
a good church where the pastor and the congregation believe the
whole Bible, where they believe in holiness of life and separation
from the world.
Find
a church where they believe in prayer for the sick and where the
pastor and congregation have a burden to see the lost saved and
brought to Jesus Christ.
May
the Lord bless you and give you peace. Write me a letter if you
have accepted the lord Jesus Christ as a result of reading this
message.

verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on
Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (John 5:24)

- You must repent of your sins
The
Bible says, "...except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
(Luke 13:3) "Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous
man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will
have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon."
(Isaiah 55:7)

- You must receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour
The
Bible says: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
"Behold,
I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open
the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he
with Me." (Rev. 3:20) "He that hath the Son hath life: and he
that hath not the Son of God hath not life." (1 John 5:12)

- You must confess Jesus Christ as your Lord
The
Bible says: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)
"Whosoever
shall confess Me before men, him shall the Son of man confess
before the angels of God: But he that denieth Me before men shall
be denied before the angels of God." (Luke 12:8, 9)
HOW
DO I INVITE
JESUS CHRIST INTO MY LIFE?
Pray
to God, a prayer - from your heart.
Tell Him that you
are a sinner and that you need forgiveness. Tell him that
you believe Jesus Christ died for your sins. Tell him that
you are willing to change, to turn away from sin. Ask Jesus
Christ to come into your heart and life and be your personal
Saviour.
"But
as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on his name." (John 1:12)
"Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2
Corinthians 5:17)
If
you prayed and ask Jesus Christ into your heart - YOU HAVE NOW
RECEIVED THE GIFT OF SALVATION - YOU HAVE BECOME A CHILD OF GOD.
